Bilfinger Berger Project Investments (BBPI) has delivered a central women and children's hospital facility that integrates dispersed existing facilities into a single site. The £30 million state-of-the-art hospital, which opened to patients in April 2003, includes the Trust’s maternity, gynaecology, neonatal and paediatric out patients services. In combining these facilities on one dedicated site, this new development now offers a more modern, flexible and personal service to patients.
Up until December 2008, BBPI retained responsibility for management on behalf of the sponsors, having disposed of its equity stake in 2006.
